Some artists work into their craft but "Lorenzo" Larry Sept, is a natural born and knew his life work would be in art from the age of 10, after painting his first oil.

It's a rare thing to develop a skill you love and then have the ability to earn a livelihood doing it. Larry's aptitude at drawing come together with his love of cars and motorcycles and for several years he enjoyed doing murals and graphic designs for the auto/cycle industry. He loved working with different painting techniques and coupled with his drawing talent he did over 1,500 commissions for GM, Ford, Chrysler and Harley Davidson.

Larry became fascinated with glass art in the early 80's and has been perfecting his craft since that time. "Glass is very unforgiving and requires a loving rhapsody between the artist and this medium----it's a mutual commitment between the creator and the glass" he says with a wry grin.

He works with sand carving on plate glass and fused and slumped work in kiln fired applications. Commercial clients such as McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell and Dairy Queen loved his innovative designs. Resorts, hotels, restaurants and corporate offices jumped on board and with over 3,000 original commissions he has been featured in magazines, show homes and corporate offices in Canada, the US and Mexico.
